Mission
The mission of Urban Outreach is to connect homeless people with services that can help them move from crisis to stability in a relational environment that is supportive, respectful, and easily accessible. We engage the faith community to provide services efficiently through a volunteer and strengths-based model which it strives to replicate throughout Arizona.
Vision
The vision of Urban Outreach is to increase the capacity of the faith community to contribute resources, wisdom, compassion and service directly to those in need to reduce homeless in our community and to replicate our model throughout Arizona.
At Urban Outreach We Proudly Provide The following Services Each Year
- Provide services for a total of 21000 guest contacts
- Serve over 24000 meals
- Provide over 7800 showers
- Provide 6600 free, clean, changes of clothing (including shirt, pants and underwear, socks when available)
- Provide over 1500 individual Community Case Management contacts
- Provide 672 bus passes at $1.75 each (homeless provide rate of ½ price)
- We are a hydration station during the summer months – providing 3000 bottles of free water to anyone who needs it
- Provide individual case management and independent living skills to 16 formerly homeless in permanent housing program
